Lea Magruder has lived in El Paso most of her life, and graduated from UTEP with a degree in Art. An Anglican church musician since the age of 15, she has also accompanied area high school instrumentalists, vocalists, and choirs for the last 20 years. She joined St. Francis as Parish Secretary in 2002 and began as Music Director in 2010. Lea is married to Brooks, who plays guitar at St. Francis, and they have four children and six grandchildren.

Lea is passionate about painting, art and music for the church, and trying to garden on the rocky edge of an arroyo.
